How did that post actually land?

Paste a Hacker News link, or upload a comment export from any platform, and get a coded read of the reaction: who agreed, which frames they used, what carried the engagement, and the charts to show it. Same method as our published analyses, run on your thread.

1. Get the comments in

Drop a file here, or click to choose
Optional: worker endpoint and access code (for Reddit, YouTube and AI coding)

2. Code the comments

This file is not coded yet. Coding needs a frame list drafted from the thread and approved by a person; that is the one step we never automate away. Edit the draft below, then send batches to the worker, or download a batch pack and code with the Common Signals skill.

What this can and can't tell you. Comment threads are self-selected and unrepresentative of any population. Engagement measures salience, not persuasion. One artefact tests one message, one messenger and one format at once, so nothing here separates them. Treat every finding as a hypothesis for a segmented message test, which is what our research programme exists to run.

Method and code are open: the same analysis runs in our published research. Read the analyses · Get in touch
